Music and Theory was created by music teacher, composer, arranger, and orchestrator Brianne Lundberg.
We are currently in the process of updating, digitizing, and uploading all the music theory resources to MusicAndTheory.com. As they become available you will be able to find innovative materials including Color By Note, Interval study, Note Reading assistance, Rhythm and Meter, Scales and Key signatures, Chords, Ear Training, and even Listening Assignments, all designed to help music students understand the language of music.
Music and Theory contains an ever-growing collection of sheet music including all-new original pieces, arrangements of long-time favorites, and reformatted historic works. Pieces range in difficulty from beginner to advanced, and genres include Holiday, Classical, Patriotic, Rags / Jazz / Blues, Religious, Film / TV / Theatre, Popular Music, World, Traditional / Folk, Contemporary, and Exercises / Technique. New pieces are uploaded regularly, and currently available products are also regularly reviewed and updated as necessary.
Original compositions and arrangements can both be found on Music and Theory. Original historic works can also be found on the site. New music is added to the site regularly (both originals and arrangements), so be sure to check back often!
Arrangements are frequently requested because people want to learn or perform music they already know and love. Not everyone wants to wait until they can play classical pieces in their original form, and a lot of musicians want to learn music that either wasn't written for their instrument or isn't the right level for them. Arrangements allow people to enjoy the music now, and when written intelligently, they can help teach valuable musicianship skills. As a classically trained musician, I greatly respect the genius of the many incredible composers who lived before us and always strive to remain as true to the spirit of their original works as possible.
Yes, I do! If you've looked through the site and can't find something you're looking for, please reach out to me through the form on my Custom Music page and I'll be more than happy to help.
You can find music of all levels on Music and Theory, ranging from early beginner to advanced. Because there are so many beginner and intermediate level musicians in this world, we have chosen to focus on those resources first. As we continue to digitize my library and create more music, more advanced pieces will become available for purchase.
I am currently working on production and testing of my method books and will make an announcement as soon as they are available for purchase.
The Teaching Tools are there to help you know what you might find in each piece and the various elements or concepts that each piece teaches. These terms have proven invaluable in guiding teachers who are purchasing music for their students or Studio. For more information, we have provided a detailed Teaching Tools Glossary explaining how each term is used on MusicAndTheory.com.
Previews of each product are available on every product page so that you can review before making the decision to purchase.
Yes! Each sheet music product has (or will soon have) an audio or video sample so that you can hear the music before you purchase. Some recordings use digital sound sampling while others are live performances.
Occasionally, you may find that the sound on our videos is muted when you go to listen to it. This is because all our sheet music samples are hosted on YouTube, which uses automatic settings that may mute the video on some devices. Unfortunately, we can't control YouTube's settings. However, if you simply tap the icon on the video to unmute it or turn up the volume on your device, you should be able to hear it just fine.
A Single User License allows you to use the purchased product for or as a single individual for whom the material is purchased, regardless of whether the purchase was made by a teacher or by the end user of the material. Any reproduction or redistribution of materials with a Single User License, for any reason, is prohibited.
A Studio License allows you as an individual teacher to use the purchased material with any number of your own students taught in real time over the years. The material may not be shared with any other teacher, non-student individual, or group, for any reason.
For more details on these licenses, please visit our License Policy page.
You are allowed to print however many copies you need, provided you follow the terms of the license you have purchased:
Single User License -- You are allowed one printed copy, but you may print it again if your copy becomes damaged or lost. This copy may not be shared with any students, non-students, or other individuals or groups for any reason.
Studio License -- You may print unlimited copies for any students you currently teach. These copies may not be shared with any non-students or other individuals or groups.

To protect intellectual copyright, you are not allowed to share your purchased music or theory resources with individual, student, non-student, or group, for any reason. The only exception is with a Studio License: if you have purchased Studio Licensed materials, you may share them with any students you currently teach, but not with any non-students or other individuals or groups. Any other sharing or redistribution of any kind is not permitted. You may (of course!) "share" the music with others by performing the piece for them, such as at a recital or gathering.
If you are a teacher, you may purchase a Single User License on behalf of a student and give that student the music. Likewise, if you are a parent of a music student, you may purchase a Single User License on behalf of your child and give the music to your child. The recipient becomes the "single user" for whom the material is purchased.
With a Single User License, you are NOT permitted to use the product yourself and then pass it on to another individual to use, even if the other individual is a family member.
Of course! To upgrade your license, fill out the form on our License Policy page and I'll get back to you with more information.

Sometimes our emails can be sent to your promotions tab or to your spam/junk folder. We hate when that happens! If it has been a few hours, you've checked your email thoroughly and still can't find it, please contact our Support team. At any time after you place your order, you will be able to log in to your Music and Theory account and view your downloads page to see all of your purchases available for download.
When this happens it is typically because the PDF has not been opened in Adobe Reader, which is the industry standard for viewing PDF documents. Make sure that you have downloaded and are using the latest version of Adobe Reader. You can get Adobe Reader here. Once installed, go to the upper left-hand corner and click File > Open > Then find the PDF music you downloaded and click Open. You should now be able to see the music properly. If you are still having problems viewing your music, please submit a request to our Support team.
